ExxonMobil Foundation Donates to Pakistan Flood Relief, Recovery Efforts

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE / ME NewsWire)-- ExxonMobil Foundation has donated $100,000 to the Red Crescent for flood relief and recovery efforts in Pakistan, where the United Nations reports monsoon flooding has killed up to 1,600 people and left two million homeless.

“Our sincere thoughts are with the people of Pakistan where thousands have lost their lives and millions more have been impacted by this disaster,” said ExxonMobil Foundation President Suzanne McCarron. “It’s our hope that our support for Red Crescent’s efforts will help to address the needs of those affected by this tragedy.

The donation will be distributed to the Red Crescent through the American Red Cross. ExxonMobil does not operate in Pakistan.
