Samsung Launches Competitor To Ipad

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000), a new tablet PC powered by the Android Operating System 2.2, the Associated Press has reported. The device, which weighs 380 grams and has a 7-inch touch screen, supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G mobile phone networks. The new iPad rival also comes with two cameras, one 3-megabyte digital camera with a flash on the back of the device, and a second camera on the front for video conferences.
