Published Sep 5, 2010

Batelco, as part of its ongoing strategy to enhance its communications network and keep it on par with the highest international standards, is carrying out a series of network upgrades throughout 2010.

In line with this commitment, the next upgrades will take place in Sanad on Monday 6th of September. In order to minimise the disruption to customers the upgrade.

Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco is replacing its network equipment with the latest technology to meet the growing demand for enhanced and more sophisticated services for both Residential and Business clients.

The upgrade may cause some minor interruptions to fixed telephone lines and Datacoms Lease Line services during the process.
