Injazat Awarded ISO Certification For IT Service Management & Information Security

Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, has been awarded certifications for meeting the stringent requirements of the international ISO/IEC 20000:2005 IT Service Management and ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System standards. The recognitions from ISO, the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards, affirms the high standard of management processes implemented by Injazat to meet business requirements for IT Services.

ISO/IEC 20000:2005 is the first international standard developed specifically for IT Service Management, defining a comprehensive set of Management Processes for effective IT service delivery. It is aligned with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. Through the support of its professional development initiative, the Injazat Training Institute (TI2), Injazat currently has one of the largest numbers of ITIL certified professionals in the Middle East.

ISO 27001:2005, on the other hand, outlines parameters for ensuring the adoption of adequate and proportionate security control for managing and protecting valuable and critical information assets.
