Iomega to Showcase Latest Innovative Storage Solutions at GITEX 2010

Iomega Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMC Corporation, and a worldwide leader in innovative enterprise storage and security solutions will be displaying its latest innovative storage solutions for consumers and small enterprises at the 2010 GITEX Technology Week, held in Dubai from 17th – 21st October.

Iomega’s latest products include network hard drives and NAS devices with a range of exciting features and benefits; multi-media solutions that allow users to move pictures, video and other digital files from computers to home entertainment centers and one of the deepest lineups of direct-attached desktop and portable external hard drives in the industry.

“The Middle East is a strategic growth market for Iomega. Our product lines include the broadest offering of direct-attached external hard drives in the industry and we believe that our products are ideal for the digital storage management needs of consumers and small enterprises in the region,” said Jan Jensen, Vice President Sales EMEA, Iomega Corporation & The Consumer and Small Business Products Division, EMC Corporation.

“Among the products on show at the Iomega stand this year will be 3.5-inch desktops drives ranging from 500 gigabytes to 4 terabytes and the award-winning eGo Portable Hard Drive, a rugged 2.5-inch portable hard drive available in multiple colours and a range of computer interfaces,” added Cizar Nazeeh Abughazaleh, Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Iomega Corporation. “We will also be demonstrating the popular ScreenPlay Multimedia Drive family, which comprises different devices that allow users to move their digital content from the computer to the big screen television to enjoy high definition viewing.”

The Iomega team will be on hand to demonstrate the latest products in Hall 3, Stand 309.
