Golden Systems To Highlight GIGABYTE’s Innovative Netbooks and Notebooks At GITEX 2010

Golden Systems Middle East (GSME), the leading distributor of IT products in the Middle East, announced that they will be showcasing GIGABYTE’s latest innovations at GITEX Technology Week 2010. The distributor will place the spotlight on the world’s first notebook, tablet PC and desktop 3 in 1 - GIGABYTE T1125 and the first Notebook with GPU embedded docking station - GIGABYTE 14’’ M1405 at GITEX Technology Week 2010. Golden Systems will also showcase GIGABYTE’s wide-range of award-winning graphics cards, motherboards, laptops and netbooks at the exhibition in addition to meeting customers and partners at the event.

GIGABYTE T1125 is the world’s very first tablet notebook with desktop performance in the market, which is the fifth generation of a GIGABYTE Tablet Series. This model has a capacitive multi-touch and swivel panel that transforms the notebook into a fully functional Tablet PC, especially with NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M that supports Optimus technology embedded and the docking station with ODD that completes the desktop functionality. This innovation builds on and improves existing designs featuring a swiveling capacitive touch screen, vertical docking station with slot-in ODD. A wide variety of connectivity options are available with four speakers including 2 Woofer speakers and the THX TruStudio ProTM Technology that optimizes the sound bands frequency, the latest USB 3.0(optional), Bluetooth and Wireless LAN technologies and optional 3.5G Upgradeability to provide wireless freedom on the move.

GIGABYTE M1405 combines great looks and design with powerful computing experience, a complete and powerful desktop replacement solution with great innovation. It reflects GIGABYTE’s continuous effort to match the tastes of end users by combining great design and looks with powerful computing experience. The M1405 in available in Dark Blue, Wine Red, Bright Gold and Silver. But what sets it apart is its powerful docking station with NVIDIA® GT220 graphic card, which delivers desktop like graphic performance. The innovative docking station greatly expands the connectivity of M1405 up to 2 extra displays, all at once, providing a wide desktop utilizing up to 3 displays.

GIGABYTE’s M1405 offers a long lasting computing experience through unique design of the optical disk drive which can be easily exchanged for a second ODD battery, extending the battery life up to 10 hours. The M1405 comes with GIGABYTE Smart Switch function which allows users to switch between 32-bit or 64-bit operating system more quickly and easily. This enables greater interoperability between 32-bit and 64-bit software applications within the OS environment. GIGABYTE Smart Switch combines cutting edge technology to ensure greater compatibility and usability, thus greatly increasing productivity.
