Mindware To Showcase State-Of-The-Art IT Products At ‘GITEX 2010’

Published Oct 17, 2010

Mindware, a leading IT distributor in the Middle East, is set to mark an extensive participation at the upcoming ‘GITEX Technology Week 2010’, the largest ICT exhibition in the region, where it will showcase some of the latest, state-of-the-art IT products to hit the market. The company’s top partner brands, such as Brocade, DELL, Citrix and Huawei Symantec, will join the distributor during the event’s 5-day run from October 17 – 21, 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

Located in Hall 4, stand D4-11, Mindware will highlight its end-to-end networking solutions and customer-focused distribution strategies among participants and visitors of the show. In addition, other products from top brands will also be showcased by the distributor, including Intel, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec, Kingston, Business Object, McAfee, Novell, Quantum, Neverfail, Nexans, Wyse, Cheetah Networks, CA and Juniper.

“Amidst the global recession, IT is still a strong industry that continues to witness growth while other markets register significant decline,” said Mario Gay, General Manager, Mindware. “We are focusing our efforts towards addressing the complex needs of our customers and the huge demand for technology-driven solutions, as well as building strategic relations with new brands. Our presence at the upcoming ‘GITEX’ event is aimed at leveraging the opportunities that abound the IT sector now.”

As the leading distributor of quality IT products to the Middle East and North Africa, Mindware's extensive portfolio includes leading global brands reaching out to over 2,500 resellers throughout the MENA region. The company maintains strong presence within leading regional territories, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus and North Africa. Mindware’s ‘GITEX’ participation this year follows its success at the ‘Microsoft TechEd Middle East 2010’, the premier technical education and networking event of Microsoft, brought together more than 1,500 leading senior decision-makers, CTOs and CIOs from across the globe.

“Our commitment to our customers continues to be the driving force for our growth, which allows us to bring more value-added effective solutions to the market as well as benefits to our channel partners and vendors. With the ever-growing regional demand for innovative IT products, we are optimistic that this year’s ‘GITEX’ event will hold excellent promise for us, our vendor partners and to everyone who seeks to be a part of this annual event,’ concluded Mario.
