Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, is outlining its strengths and growth in Application Delivery during the 30th edition of GITEX Technology Week, the largest consolidation of ICT events in the Middle East taking place from October 17 to 21, 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. GITEX is the premier platform for capitalizing on business opportunities arising from an expected 10.5 per cent average increase in Middle Eastern ICT investments in 2010.
Injazat is joining partner Oracle in displaying its advanced capabilities in Application Implementation, Application Managed Services Support, Application Modernization and other related service areas in a dedicated GITEX booth. The company is currently the leading outsourced IT services provider in the UAE, an emerging technology hub in the region which is set to boost its ICT investments by 12.4 per cent to USD4.8 billion in 2010. Injazat is also becoming a major player in the rapidly-growing cloud computing segment via its Tier IV design-certified data center, the first and only facility of its kind in the Middle East.
“For three decades GITEX has inspired innovation and excellence among the Gulf’s ICT players. It is a perfect setting for Injazat to highlight its own pioneering work in the region’s ICT field, particularly in the application delivery domain. Our latest ISO certifications for our IT Service and Information Security models prove our reliability as an agent and as a partner for ICT development in the region,” said Samer Ajrouche, Head of Applications, Injazat Data Systems.
GITEX Technology Week will feature several new information platforms: GITEX Global Leaders Summit, GITEX Global Conference, GITEX Cloud Confex and GITEX Mobile Apps and Content World. The traditional show sectors include GITEX Business Solutions, GULFCOMMS, Consumer Electronics, Network and Security, and Government. All are trade-only events with the exception of Consumer Electronics, which will treat the public to three open days of pre-release technology and gadget exhibitions. Last year’s GITEX welcomed more than 3,000 international suppliers and 133,708 ICT professionals.
Injazat recently received ISO/IEC 20000:2005 IT Service Management and ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System certifications for the quality management processes it implements to fully meet business requirements for IT services. The company currently serves over 20 clients and 10,000 end-users in government and private sector organizations and plans to build more data centers across the Emirates following the huge success of its Tier IV facility.
