Brocade® (Nasdaq: BRCD) announced more information on the Brocade Conference, which will take place on 29-30 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Dubai. Join over 1,500 other delegates across EMEA to hear Brocade outlines its vision for the virtualised data centre and innovations that will transform the networking landscape.
Brocade’s CMO, John McHugh, and vice president - product marketing, Doug Ingraham will be joined in Dubai by local regional manager, Ali Ahmar, and the company’s ecosystem of partners – including EMC, Fujitsu, HDS, HP and a number of leading distribution and channel organisations – in outlining how Brocade One™, the unifying network architecture and strategy that enables customers to simplify the complexity of virtualising their applications, can empower companies to design and deploy next generation networks.
According to new research*, more than three-quarters of enterprises across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) are looking to consolidate their existing IT infrastructure in the next 12 months in a bid to increase network performance, simplify management and enhance business efficiency. The research found that 76 percent of enterprises consider IT consolidation to be one of the top three IT issues they face in the coming year, followed by both virtualisation and security. At the Brocade Conference, Brocade and its partners will be helping users understand just how to meet these needs and engineer networks that can deliver on future requirements.
Split across two days, the conference will be a blend and keynote presentations from Brocade and main sponsors followed by a number of breakout educational seminars:
- Day one will include keynotes from Ali Ahmar, John McHugh and Doug Ingraham, together with presentations from the main sponsors and leading industry analyst, IDC.
- Day two will be broken into four Brocade-driven educational tracks covering the Brocade vision, data center SAN, data center IP networks and the service provider/campus LAN sector, complemented by sponsor presentations.
“Having all of Brocade’s partners in one room, at the same time, talking to delegates about how to optimise networking environments is a very, very rare occurrence and one that customers and prospects should relish,” commented Ali Ahmar, regional manager at Brocade. “The benefits of a unified network are clear in terms of increasing performance and enabling business productivity, not to mention reducing complexity, but just how to do this is sometimes confusing for companies. By coming to the Brocade Conference and having the opportunity to talk face-to-face with Brocade, Dell, EMC, HP, IBM on the same day will help business leaders understand the compelling events that are driving network change, and what actions they should be taking.”
