Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, will discuss major data centre security and operational risks during the Datacenter Dynamics Dubai conference taking place on November 2, 2010 at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. The conference is the local edition of the world’s top data center events network.

The global Datacenter Dynamics conference series for 2010 will cover 36 countries in North and Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa (MEA), and the Asia Pacific. The Dubai forum is the third leg in a four-city MEA tour which also includes Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Doha, Qatar. Injazat is among the event’s Gold Sponsors.

Kamran Ahsan, Injazat’s Information Security Officer, will deliver a presentation titled ‘Addressing Information Security Risks in Injazat Data Center.’ The discussion will present an interesting perspective on synergistic benefits of Tier IV design and ISO 27001 controls and how information security risks are managed in a data centre environment.

“As a pioneer in Tier IV data center services, we have learned a lot about the right mix of strategies and offerings that suit the region’s unique managed IT services needs. Datacenter Dynamics Dubai is an opportunity for us to share information security issues we have encountered so far as well as our approaches to their resolution. We also have a chance to emphasize the great value of Tier IV data centres to organizations planning to adopt our kind of ISO-certified facilities,” said Bala Pandalangat, CEO, Injazat Data Systems.

Injazat’s Tier IV data centre, the first design-certified facility of its kind in the Middle East, was launched in 2009 and is located at Madinat Mohammed Bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi. The centre was named ‘Best Data Center Middle East Region’ during the Data Center Strategies Middle East Awards 2010 .
