Panasonic launched a range of extremely rugged and ultra mobile PC’s for the Middle East market. The new range compromises of the touch mobile convertible tablet PC CF-C1, the extremely rugged ultra mobile PC CF-U1, and the CF-H1, a fully-rugged mobile clinical assistant for medical professionals, and the CF-H1 field PC which is shock resistant, dust proof, and splash proof.
Demand for industry specific and durable PCs in the region is one of the highest in the world, and Panasonic’s new range of PCs are ideally suited for education, construction, government, health, and commercial enterprises looking for a business tool to assist in information sharing and decision support, commented a Panasonic executive.
The new generation of PCs from Panasonic use “Transflective Plus” technology to radically improve the reflection of sunlight from the display surface, massively enhancing screen clarity. The devices have a built-in vision light sensor that detects the level of sunlight and changes the screens backlighting accordingly, further improving visibility and the power efficiency of the device.
In order to withstand the demands of a highly mobile work environment, the Toughbooks are designed to endure drops, bumps, and spills. The PCs have successfully survived drops of 12 inches from any angle. Further more, the unique Panasonic spill-resistant keyboard design protects against liquid spills of about six ounces (200 cc).
“The PC has evolved into a critical decision-support business tool, and our new range of PCs are industry friendly PCs. These machines have been designed to suit today’s tough out of office and field operations environment,” commented Masao Motoki, Director System Sales and Marketing Group, Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE.
