Epson Announces Middle East Launch Of Latest Ultra-Portable Projectors For Mobile Presenters

Epson, the worldwide leader in the projector market , has announced the Middle East launch of the EB-1750, EB-1760W, EB-1770W and EB-1775W – a range of projectors offering a combination of bright, high-quality images with a lightweight, slimline design. This range of projectors, the lightest and thinnest ever from Epson, has been designed specifically for mobile professionals.
Weighing an ultra-light 1.7kg and designed to be extra-slim with a height of just 44mm, the projectors are smaller than most laptops and easily slip into a laptop bag. This, combined with the fast, straightforward set-up, quick-start-up and instant-off functions, makes for a hassle-free way to share presentations and images when away from the office.
Using Epson’s 3LCD technology, the projectors boast top-of-the-range brightness at up to 3,000 lumens and a Colour Light Output (CLO) equally as high as the white light output. This means presentations benefit from vivid yet natural colours that will impress even when projected in full daylight, allowing audiences to easily take notes.
The high-speed wireless connectivity – included with the EB-1775W and optional with the EB-1760W/1770W – provides freedom from cables. Once connected via the Easy MP Network Projection software, it offers a host of enhanced features including multi-screen display, providing the ability to connect up to four projectors from a single computer. And with the optional Quick Wireless Connection key, getting connected is extremely easy.
Large images can be projected even when space is limited. A 60 inch image (16:10 aspect ratio) can be achieved when the projector is only 1.35 metres from the screen.
All models, excluding the EB-1750, offer a native WXGA resolution that displays everything shown on a widescreen computer (Macs and PCs) without needing any adjustments, projecting about 30 per cent more of the on-screen pixels than XGA resolution.
For mobile professionals seeking enhanced usability, the range features a 3-in-1 USB display function – unique to Epson – so users can play both sound and images and control the projector using just one Mac-compatible USB cable. In addition, bundled Epson software converts PowerPoint slides to enable PC free, multi-media presentations which can be shown directly from a USB flash drive.
Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, “These products are the ultimate in mobile presenting and are expected to be well received in the Middle Eastern markets. Automatic vertical keystone correction is on all models and the EB-1775W also has automatic horizontal keystone correction. It means the image immediately focuses onto any flat surface and automatic horizontal and vertical keystone correction adjusts the shape to give an accurate projection. Operated with a dedicated button, the exclusive Screen Fit function also ensures that projections fit perfectly onto any projection screen with a black frame, so images are always straight and distortion-free in seconds.”
