Huawei Symantec Appoints Tech Access As Value-Added Distributor For MENA Region

Huawei Symantec Technologies, a provider of network security and storage appliance solutions, has announced the appointment of Tech Access, as the value added distributor for the Middle East and North Africa region.

The company also revealed that it stepped up efforts to expand the channel network, in line with its commitment to the MENA region, which Huawei Symantec has identified as one of its key markets amidst the region’s especially the GCC countries’ eagerness to adopt the latest technologies and incorporate security mechanisms across integrated platforms for running Internet applications.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tech Access and Huawei Symantec will work together to expand business development and lead generation opportunities for channel partners in the region.

The deal will also grant the distributor access to Huawei Symantec’s world class technical support and training network.

With vast experience and expertise in storage, which can benefit Huawei Symantec’s existing and new resellers, Tech Access will help the leading security and storage solutions vendor build, educate and support new tier two resellers across the region.

“With our present capability to offer solutions for a wide range of markets from SMBs to enterprises we are investing in building a stronger channel partner network, which is part of our strategy to fuel our success in the MENA region,” said Robinson Hu, Regional Director, Huawei Symantec Middle East and Africa (MEA).

In addition, the distributor has expressed its commitment to ensuring that Huawei Symantec’s customers in the region will benefit from a well trained and qualified network of partners to deliver cost effective, simplified data and information management solutions from the leading network security and storage solutions company.
