Adobe Reveals New Pricing Strategy For Egypt’s Smes And Creative Industry

Published Nov 4, 2010

Adobe Systems Incorporated MENA (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced a new business strategy specifically targeting the growing Egyptian market, bringing the benefits of flagship Creative Suite 5 (CS5) to the country’s small and mid-sized enterprises and growing creative industry sector.

Central to Adobe’s business strategy is a new CS5 pricing scheme offering up to 70% discount on the published Middle East price for Egyptian businesses. This new strategy will support the country’s growing design industry and fast-developing creative talent by making Adobe’s latest technology available at more affordable prices for the Egyptian user.

“Adobe is committed to the Egyptian market and is constantly evaluating local needs to tailor our offering accordingly,” said Abdallah Saqqa, general manager at Adobe Systems MENA. “This market promises enormous potential for growth, and this new pricing scheme has been specially developed as part of our strategy to bring the advantages of our software to more users here. With 250 new features, Adobe Creative Suite 5 gives Egypt’s design professionals the freedom and control to realize their ideas more completely and quickly than ever before, across a broad range of media.”

Engaging new and existing users of its industry leading Creative Suite, Adobe is planning a calendar of activities to educate and support Egypt’s design community. The first event will introduce Adobe CS5 Master Collection to designers, film makers, web developers and photographers across the country. This event is being held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Cairo on 4th November 2010. Attendees will have access to the Adobe experts Greg Rewis, Terry White and Jason Levine for demonstrations of the suite’s features.

“With CS5, we’re ensuring that publishers, designers and marketers can create, deliver and optimize beautiful, high-impact digital experiences across media and devices,” commented Saqqa. “Beyond these creative benefits, we also want to ensure that people understand the value of purchasing original license software that provides security and high performance for their work. We strongly believe that the new pricing model will encourage businesses, especially small to medium sized organizations, to adopt genuine software and therefore make themselves more secure.”
