Epson To Showcase Interactive Education Technology Solutions At BETT Middle East 2010

Epson has announced that it will showcase its latest interactive education technology solutions during its participation at BETT Middle East, the largest education technology exhibition in the GCC to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from November 21 to 22, 2010. Seeking to capitalise on an estimated USD 55 billion expenditure in education in the Middle East, Epson revealed that it will be conducting various networking activities and business-to-business meetings at BETT Middle East, leveraging the attendance of education ministers from various countries as well as representatives from leading educational institutions, academic associations, resellers and distributors in the region.

Epson also announced that it will unveil a new line of environmentally safe projectors, printers and scanners at BETT Middle East, which have been developed in line with the company’s ‘Environmental Vision 2050'. Epson will also be conducting meetings with various business organisations and key governmental institutions, including the Abu Dhabi Education Council, which has recently awarded a contract to Epson for the initial rollout of projects for schools in the emirate.

Epson announced that it will conduct live demonstrations of the new features and powerful functionalities of its classroom solutions at BETT Middle East. Among the top-of-the-line products to be showcased include the new wall mounted projector EB-450Wi and DC11 Document Camera, the EB-G5650W ceiling-mounted projector, desktop projectors EB-85H and DC06, the B-500DN Printer, the GT-1500 Scanner and the EB-W8D pedestal projector, which is capable of projecting images with sound from a DVD.
