Advanced Data Infrastructure, Strong Government Support And Skilled Resources Position Jordan As Emerging Hub For ME Region’s IT industry, Says Sage Software

The presence of advanced data and IT infrastructure combined with strong government support and a highly skilled and IT proficient resources have played key factors in Jordan’s emergence as a new IT hub for the Middle East region, says Sage Software, the leading global supplier of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) Solutions to medium and large organizations. To help highlight the rapid growth Jordan’s IT industry, Sage Software hosted today (November 23, 2010) a special workshop entitled, ‘Accelerate Out of the Downturn’, at the Grand Hyatt Amman in Jordan. The event was aimed at showcasing Sage Software’s wide range of products and solutions and how it can help local businesses in their bid to face current challenges brought about by the current economic downturn.

During the event, Sage Software shared key techniques and strategies that businesses can utilize in trying to increase productivity and efficiencies like automating cash flow and collecting management; getting detailed insight on business and staff performance; monitoring sales metrics with real time visibility; responding to changing customer needs and demands and automating processes to help ensure maximum productivity. Ramzi Qushair, Director Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, Deloitte was invited to speak on key topics like Challenges in today’s CFO’s; ERP as an essential tool for CFO operations; and how CFO’s can use ERP to cut on operational costs and optimize the use of complex and expensive systems. Ammar Mango, Chief Knowledge Officer, Method and Hani Massad, Group IT Director, Abu-Khader Group, also talked about how Sage CRM has helped their businesses accelerate out of the downturn.
