Published Nov 23, 2010

Mansoft Qatar WLL, wholly owned subsidiary of Mannai Corporation announced signing an agreement to open its first EMC Velocity2 Signature Solution Centre, to demonstrate the value that EMC solutions can offer to customers. The Centre will focus on consultancy and integration for the cloud infrastructure helping customers on their journey to the private cloud; the centre will focus on Vblock Infrastructure Packages, an element of VCE, The Virtual Computing Environment formed by Cisco and EMC with investments from VMware and Intel.

Based on the immense success of EMC’s own Global Solution Centres, Mansoft Solution Center will replicate a framework of technology that demonstrates EMC Proven™ solutions in an approved environment. Backed by stringent testing, seamless partner integration and document implementation methodologies, EMC Proven™ solutions reduce customer risk and ensure faster deployment. The first solution to be showcased in the Solution Center is the VblockTM Infrastructure Packages allowing customers to run proof of concept for adopting cloud infrastructure, data centre utilisation benefits and application performance.

The VblockTM Infrastructure Packages are built on best-of-breed storage, networking, server, security, virtualization and management technologies from Cisco, EMC, and VMware.

The Solution Centre will also demonstrate EMC Proven™ solutions for Oracle ERP and Microsoft Exchange 2010 Environments.

Our aim is in Mansoft is to meet our customers expectations and provide them with high quality service levels in all the stages of their projects” Alekh Grewal, CEO of Mannai Corporation said.

Mansoft made the right choice by choosing this solution as the first to showcase.“ said Habib Mahakian, Regional Director for North Gulf, Levant & Pakistan Area at EMC

The centre will also provide comprehensive solutions development, live and remote demonstrations and development of near-customer environments via EMC’s Customer Integration Lab.

Havier Haddad, Channel Manager, for EMC Turkey, Emerging Africa & Middle East said: “The ability to support Velocity2 Signature Solution Centres is at the core of our channels enablement program.
