Canon Middle East Outlines Regional Business Growth Strategies For 2011 During Partner Conference

Published Nov 25, 2010

Canon Middle East, leader in imaging solutions, has announced that at least 100 partners from 24 countries in the MENA region are attending Canon's Partner Conference, which is being held from November 23 – 25, 2010 at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi, under the theme of “Reaching new Heights”.

Reaffirming its continuing commitment to its “closer to customers” business direction, Canon Middle East has revealed that it is outlining its regional strategies and business directions for 2011 to its business partners. The three-day event provides strategic direction for Canon in 2011, as well as updated product and solutions information across all its imaging technologies for both customer and business units.

Under the theme of “Reaching New Heights”, Canon is also sharing its optimistic view of the regional market, as the company expects a breakout year for the Canon brand in 2011. Canon's positive outlook has been influenced by the company's success in overcoming the challenges of 2009 and in moving ahead with its growth agenda in 2010 in light of the gradual market rebound.

“Canon is focusing on enhancing customer experiences and satisfaction by cultivating more meaningful interaction with our target audiences, while maintaining our commitment to channel development. This strategy allows Canon and its business units to effectively address the unique requirements of our customers, especially in light of the fundamental changes in market dynamics and the growing preference for cost-effective and technologically-advanced products and solutions," said Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East.

Canon has posted two consecutive years of positive market share growth and is on the right path to securing the top position in the imaging solutions market. Canon's excellent performance in the Middle East has been largely credited to the company's focus on key directions laid out during 2009 and 2010.

For 2011, Canon expects exciting growth possibilities and more opportunities to scale new heights of success, with its partner organisations continuing to play a crucial role in realising the company's new growth targets. The Partner Conference is thus instrumental in discussing Canon’s business strategy and objectives for 2011. Moreover, the event has been designed to enable Canon and its business partners to proceed energetically with their new growth strategy for 2011.
