BenQ Unveils New High Dynamic Range II Cameras

BenQ, leading digital lifestyle provider and winner of the 2010 Red Dot Award, has launched its new digital camera lineup to the Middle East. The E1460 and T1460 High Dynamic Range II cameras feature 14 megapixels high resolution, 4XW optical zoom lens, 720p HD movie recording capabilities and BenQ’s upgraded HDR II image enhancement technology.

Both digital cameras are equipped with BenQ’s HDR II image enhancement technology that is designed to produce an overall well-exposed image even when lighting conditions are not ideal. BenQ’s HDR II image enhancement technology allows a greater dynamic range between the lightest and darkest areas of the image and is the perfect tool to overcome high contrast lighting condition challenges.
The most outstanding features of BenQ’s new E1460 and T1460 are its array of creative functions that allows users to transform ordinary images into creative art. The LOMO effect enable users to add LOMO style effects to their photographs – darkened-corners, off-kilter exposure and over-saturated colors.
The Fisheye lens adds an element of fun and provides a wide-angle hemispherical view of the photographic subject which results in the production of quirky, creative images. The Color Accent effect enables users to choose a specific color to highlight in the image turning the rest of the picture to black and white.
Both the E1460 and T1460 are equipped with 41MB internal memory and support 4GB SD compatible / 32GB SDHC card for expandable storage.
The E1460 comes in Forest Green and Shiny Silver; the T1460 comes in Passionate Red. Both cameras will be available at all major retail outlets across the Middle East from January 2011.
