Toshiba Computer Systems Division showcases security, protection, connectivity and manageability features with Toshiba EasyGuard, a concept developed to meet the dynamic and evolving needs of laptop users, especially for business and corporate world.

Selected models of Toshiba Satellite Pro, Tecra and Portégé laptops are equipped with a Fingerprint Reader which allows Single Sign On, giving users fast and convenient authentication for all system passwords .Only the registered owner can validate access to chosen documents and websites without the trouble of remembering multiple passwords. In addition, the Advanced Encryption feature protects the sensitive data using encryption and digital signature to ensure integrity and privacy. Toshiba laptops also have the capacity to secure specific devices and ports to prevent illegal access and copying of confidential and private documents. Users are also relieved from threats on worms and viruses with the help of the Execute Disable Bit feature, which deactivate these before it can damage the operating system.
