Mobinil achieves 30m subscribers

Hassan Kabbani, CEO of Egypt's biggest cellular phone operator, MobiNil has said the company's subscriber base has reached 30 million, Bloomberg has reported. "This is a major milestone for MobiNil," Kabbani told the news service. "It confirms our market leadership." The Cairo based company competes with Vodafone Egypt, a unit of Vodafone Group, and Etisalat Misr, a unit of UAE's Etisalat.
