Nawras Adds 50% More Value To Silver And Silver Plus Mobile Broadband Plans

Nawras, a Qtel Group company, has added 50% more value to its Silver and Silver Plus mobile broadband internet plans. The Sultanate’s award winning communications provider is once again enhancing the internet experience of its customers by upgrading these popular plans from 2GB to 3GB, for the same 19 Rials per month. This enhanced service will give Nawras customers more opportunities to enjoy their internet experience based on excellent quality as well as price plans and innovative products that meet their needs.
We are delighted to give our customers more value than ever before when they choose a Silver or Silver Plus mobile internet plan from Nawras,” said Said Al Shanfari, team leader, core services at Nawras.
Customers on the Silver Plus plan who download more than 3GB of data, can simply pay 0.50 Bz for 104 KBs or approximately 5 Baisas for 1 MB. Customers who like to surf in GBs only pay 5 Rials per GB for their additional usage. Those using the Silver plan (with spend cap) will have a fixed monthly bill and simply receive a slower speed should the data limit be exceeded and this is automatically reset at the end of each bill cycle when normal speed is resumed.
All current customers of both the Silver and Silver Plus plans will now receive the extra GB in their monthly download without paying more.
Nawras offers a range of internet plans to suit different usage styles and was first to introduce spend capping meaning that customers can choose to always know exactly what their monthly bill will be, regardless of usage.
Other mobile broadband bundles are Gold and Gold Plus. Gold plan customers receive 10 GB of data for 29 Rials with spend capping after this limit has been reached. Gold Plus customers enjoy 10 GB of data for the same price in their bundle and any additional usage is billed in increments of 104 KBs for 0.40 Bz or approximately 4 Baisas for 1 MB.
Nawras offers a Platinum plan to serve customers who are looking for greater downloads. This plan is priced at 99 Rials for 100 GBs with a spend and speed cap for usage over and above the data included in this bundle.
Customers selecting any one of the postpaid Nawras Broadband Internet usage plans pay a monthly charge of 3 Rials for their SIM card and can then choose from a selection of different price plans.
Nawras also offers a 24 hour bundle for 1 Rial, a 48 hour bundle for 2 Rials and a pay as you go option. The company first introduced mobile Broadband Internet back in 2007 with the launch of its world class 3G network the first in Oman.
