Toshiba Integrates Intel’s Latest Processor Technology Into The Satellite A660/A665/A665 3D And The Qosmio X500

Toshiba Computer Systems, a division of Toshiba Europe GmbH, announced newly updated models of its consumer laptops Satellite A660, Satellite A665, Satellite A665 3D and Qosmio X500. They all are powered by Intel’s 2nd generation CoreTM processors and offer new enhanced multimedia and connectivity features to improve multimedia consumption and creation experience. The new laptop models will be available during the first quarter of 2011 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The built in capabilities of Intel’s latest CoreTM processor family to effortlessly create, manage, share and experience multimedia content like videos and photos perfectly serves the intended usage scenarios of Toshiba’s consumer laptops Satellite A660, Satellite A665, Satellite A665 3D and Qosmio X500: They all are targeted at users who are looking for a powerful mobile computer that offers an excellent multimedia and gaming experience.

Satellite A660,A665,A665 3D:the entertainment powerhouses :

Toshiba further improves the connectivity capabilities of its entertainment powerhouses Satellite A660, Satellite A665 and Satellite A665 3D by adding a super speed USB 3.0 port providing a bandwidth that is ten times faster than USB 2.0. It also supports the Sleep-and-Charge function that allows recharging of mobile device batteries while the laptop is switched off. A new, slim remote control, compatible with Windows® Media Center Edition allows remote controlling of TV , video and audio features. Last but not least, the newcomers in the Satellite A660 and the Satellite A665 series offer a Bluetooth® 3.0 interface to wirelessly connect with peripherals at fast data rates up to 24 Mbit/s.

Qosmio X500,the advanced gaming laptop:

The Qosmio X500 not only comes with the 2nd generation of Intel’s Core™ processors but also now offers 2D to 3D conversion and support of HDMI to stream 3D movies upconverted, from a 3D DVD or 3D Blu ray Disc ,to a 3D capable TV. This further underlines Toshiba’s commitment to promote 3D entertainment and offer users a broad 3D related device range.

Qosmio X500 now also features solid state hybrid drive that embodies a 500 GB hard disk drive and a 4 GB flash memory that allows the laptop to boot within seconds. Plus, it offers a perfect blend of capacity and ultra fast data access that is by far faster than that of a conventional hard disk drive with 7,200 rpm.

The new generation of Qosmio X500 now also comes with a Bluetooth® 3.0 port to wirelessly connect with peripherals at very fast data rates.
