Epson has announced that it has recently become a member of the Middle East Communication Industries Association (MECIA), a Dubai-based non-profit trade association that seeks to promote the adoption of professional standards in the professional audiovisual industry across the Middle East and Africa. Through its membership with MECIA, Epson is aiming to further reinforce its reputation as a quality-oriented business organisation and a regional leader in projectors.
MECIA also provides an avenue for Epson to develop strategic partnerships with different members to address a range of industry issues. The primary activities of MECIA include market research and intelligence services, networking activities, and initiating training and skills development programs.
Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said: "Epson takes another important step forward in our continuing efforts to consolidate our presence in the Middle East market through our affiliation with MECIA. This move underlines our commitment to adopt the highest professional standards in all our operations, which will help strengthen customer loyalty to the Epson brand. We will also build on new networking possibilities through MECIA to develop more value-added services and campaigns that will enable us to cater to a much wider range of audiences across the region."
