Mobiserve Opens New Office In Mali

Mobiserve Holding (www.mobiserveholding.com), the leading solutions provider for technical and telecommunications infrastructure services and engineering in the Middle East and Africa, announced its regional expansion to West Africa, with its most recent office opening in Mali. This is the tenth subsidiary for the Cairo based Holding Group across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. The expansion highlights the company's continuous growth in the region and underscores its drive to be better serve telecom operators in Mali and West Africa.

Driven by demand from operators such as Malitel to expand market share, Mobiserve’s new office will begin to immediately provide the Holding Group’s full range of premium turnkey telecommunications services such as telecom infrastructure, telecom engineering, operations, and maintenance. Mobiserve’s new Mali office will also launch an integrated package of new services for Mali and West Africa’s telecom operators, better serving the unique needs of their customers.

Commenting on the announcement, Sameh Atalla, Mobiserve CEO noted, "Mali's office is the second office to be opened during the year 2010. As we assessed markets in West Africa, we found tremendous opportunity, with Mali being one of the most promising."

Today voice still represents the highest revenue generator for our telecom operators in our existing countries, but with declining ARPUs which affects our incoming business, Mobiserve is rebalancing our focus with new geographic areas as well as offering innovative new services,” concluded Atalla.

The office in Mali is the latest subsidiary to be opened for Mobiserve and the second in 2010 as a follow on to the successful opening of its Moroccan office. The Holding Group is also expected to open additional offices in Africa, to rapidly roll out network services for African operators.
