Xerox Color MFP and Printers Give Small Businesses a “Big Business” Edge

Published Feb 28, 2011

Xerox Corporation is helping small and medium businesses (SMBs) create professional looking documents without busting budgets with two new printers and a multifunction printer (MFP) that deliver high quality color in a compact package.

The key to growth for any business is attracting and retaining customers. For a small business, that means making a big impression while spending less,” said Dan Smith, General Manager for Integrated Marketing, Xerox, MEA (DMO). “These new color products give SMBs an affordable and easy way to create the same impactful color documents as larger enterprises.

The Xerox Phaser 6000 and Phaser® 6010 color printers, Xerox Phaser 6500 color printer and Xerox WorkCentre® 6505 color multifunction printer generate impressive business graphics like those found in professional presentations and brochures.

Xerox Phaser 6000 and Phaser 6010 color printers:

- Prints speeds as fast as 10 and 12 pages per minute (ppm) for color and 12 and 15 ppm for black and white.

- Two of the smallest and lightest color printers on the market, making it a great fit for space constrained small and home offices.

- Plug and play setup and can handle a variety of custom media and sizes, from labels and card stock to envelopes.

- Xerox Phaser 6500 color printer/WorkCentre 6505 color multifunction printer.

- Start at $399 and $649 respectively.

- Print speeds of 24 ppm in color and black and white, and have a paper capacity up to 500 sheets so print jobs get done faster.

Operate with small, high capacity cartridges that save on storage space and produce up to 80 percent less waste than comparable color devices.

The WorkCentre 6505 adds copy, scan, fax and digital workflow capabilities and helps companies manage documents more effectively with features like Scan to Email, Network Scanning, Direct Scan to Applications including Optical Character Recognition, and a Scan to USB memory device.

Xerox’s Emulsion Aggregate Toner Technology combined with 600 x 600 x 4 dpi resolution produces small, more consistent toner particles for crisp text and smooth color transitions.

All products are ENERGY STAR® qualified and backed by the Xerox Total Satisfaction Guarantee. For five consecutive years, Xerox has been recognized by J.D. Power and Associates for providing “An Outstanding Customer Service Experience” in Technology Service and Support.
