Acer Group Appoints Giuseppe Mastandrea as Regional Director of META Region

Acer Group announces that Giuseppe Mastandrea is appointed as the new Regional Director of META area that includes Middle East, Turkey and Africa. The role will include the responsibility for all Acer Group’s Brands: Acer, E-Machines, Gateway and Packard bell.
Mastandrea will lead the Region to continue increasing the prominence and market share: he is well suited to this role, based on his achievements for Acer and Packard Bell brands in the past years in Italy, France, Poland and Turkey.
After Gateway and Packard Bell acquisition in 2007, he was part of the Global Marketing and Branding team in charge of the Multibrand Strategy development and implementation.
Mastandrea’s significant accomplishments in Acer have recognized a solid business knowledge to continue building a strong brand in the META Region.
Acer Group has greatly performed during the past years and is currently No. 2 on mobile segment worldwide: not only contributed to the transformation of PCs into commodities but, above all, it has been able to interpret this changeover facing the market needs always adapting its organization according to new business demand.
Mastandrea was born in April 1970 and started in IT distribution in 1989 as entrepreneur, then joined Acer Italy in 1993.
