Mobiserve Implements Saudi Arabia's First 4G Network

Mobiserve Holding, (www.mobiserveholding.com) the leading solutions provider for technical and telecommunications infrastructure services and engineering in the Middle East and Africa, announced the roll out of Saudi Arabia’s first Long Term Evolution (LTE)-WiMAX forth generation 4G network. Mobiserve was selected by vendors Samsung and Huawei to deploy the landmark project on behalf of Saudi operator Mobily.

Mobiserve’s scope will cover the project implementation including survey, design hardware and Radio Frequency (RF) installation and commissioning. With its selection of Mobiserve, vendors Samsung and Huawei ensure best in class expertise in the installation of a complete 4G network that will significantly increase data speeds for Mobily’s estimated 5 million customers. The LTE-WiMAX 4G network will be the highest speed data network in the country with speed estimated to be 2 times faster than current 3G networks.
