R&M Strengthens Its Footprint In Africa

Reichle & De-Massari (R&M, www.rdm.com), the Swiss structured cabling specialist, announced today it has increased its workforce in Africa by 50%. The regional workforce increase strengthens its presence in Africa and underscores its continuous expansion strategy.
R&M has recruited certified technical sales specialists to join R&M's Cairo based Africa office and provide expert consultation as well as to expand its regional sales coverage area. R&M also sets itself apart from its competitors by offering a training program for employees to have a thorough understanding of R&M’s cabling portfolio and how to best apply them to client requirements. Its Africa office provides value added technical expertise and advice on R&M’s over 5,500 copper and fiber product portfolio throughout the continent in conjunction with R&M’s certified in-country installation partners.
The company’s expansion in Africa is also a testament to the overall potential R&M sees on the continent despite a still uncertain business climate. Already, Africa has shown strong signs of recovery, with R&M greatly exceeding its 2009 sales figures in certain countries.
