Jacky’s Group Of Companies Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Jacky’s Group of Companies and its subsidiaries have been awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Certification.

The ISO certification, an international standard of providing framework on quality product and service requirements focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction, was successfully coveted by the Group following a stringent audit assessment by the Bureau of Assessment Services accredited by Dubai Accreditation Centre.

The certification, valid until 21st July 2011, was the outcome of an evaluation of Jacky’s Group’s quality management system in relation to the recently updated ISO 9001:2008 standards requirements.

To achieve this certificate, the Group’s top management and all companies and divisions were audited to verify that the management works effectively by documenting work processes, formulating aims and checking whether these aims were achieved or not.

The documentation process started a year ago followed by compliance monitoring through Internal Quality Audits before the Certification Audit in July this year.

Jacky’s Group has a dedicated Quality Initiatives department that focuses on quality related issues within the group level.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification covers all companies under Jacky’s Group namely Jacky’s Electronics (the retail arm), Jacky’s Gulf Free Zone, Jacky’s Middle East (which includes the distribution divisions such as the home appliances and office automation sales divisions), the Jacky’s Service Centre, Jacky’s Visitor’s Management Solutions division, Jacky’s Logistics Worldwide and Izumi Solutions (Jacky’s dedicated B2B division).
