Qtel To Bid For Syria License Despite Unrest

Qtel has announced plans to bid for Syria's third mobile communication licence despite the current unrest in parts of the country. "We are going into Syria... and we think it is an important country to be in," the group chairman, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani said.
