HP Claims Multiple Awards At 2010 Channel Of Choice Ceremony

The 5th edition of the Vendors and Resellers (VAR) Choice of Channel (COC) awards ceremony was held at the iconic Meydan hotel in Dubai on the 22nd of March. The event was attended by the crème of vendors and resellers, and celebrated determination and confidence during a difficult time for all markets.
At the ceremony HP claimed the ‘Printer Brand of the Year’ and ‘Best Channel Program’ awards which were accepted on behalf of the company by Amin Mortazavi, General Manager of HP Imaging and Printing Group in the Middle East, and Ali Nemati, Channel Sales Manager of HP Imaging and Printing Group.
On the sidelines of the event, Amin Mortazavi said; “Receiving this award is a gratifying experience, it shows just how much work HP has done towards the channel in the region, and how much people appreciate it. We are very proud of our channel program, and of the close relationships we have formed with our partners in the region.”
Vivek Sharma, Founder and Publisher of VAR MEA Magazine commented; “While the year 2010 was a tough one, the brands which emerged winners in their respective categories have overcome several challenges in a tougher market to prevail over their competition. We are pleased to congratulate all winners who have showed tremendous resolve and excelled.”
