EFILM® Deploys Thinklogical VelocityKVM Extenders And VX Router Systems

MILFORD, EFILM®, a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group has selected and deployed Thinklogical’s VelocityKVM Extension Systems and the VX Fiber Matrix Router as a high performance infrastructure for its digital laboratory business. EFILM®, a pioneer in digital imaging for motion pictures, operates the most advanced digital laboratory in the world serving the motion picture and television industry.
Thinklogical’s fiber-based solutions provide EFILM with an end to end infrastructure that allows immediate access to video resources with the highest resolution possible in the industry. These solutions can be applied to projects at major studios and visual effects companies, by independent filmmakers and animators, all customers of EFILM.

Thinklogical’s VelocityKVM Extension Systems provide secure fiber optic connections between the source content and editing rooms, while the VX 160 Router provides complete, end to end routing of video and peripheral signals, delivering high resolution content to all of the creative and editing teams at EFILM.
Currently, both single mode and multi-mode fiber optic KVM extension systems have been deployed which integrate tightly with the VX 160 Router to support multiple editing suites in various campus locations, where numerous compositors and editors reside.
