Acer Partners With STC To Support Growth In Major Markets

Acer, one of the largest IT products provider in the world, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with STC, where the two companies will offer an integrated presentation that combines the latest Acer devices, and STC's best internet and communication technology.
Under this partnership, customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will benefit from a special offer on Aspire One D255 device once they subscribe to Quicknet Action 2 package, where they will receive for free an Aspire device, 7.2 Mbps modem, Postpaid Data SIM card, and a 5 GB/month subscription with free WiFi service. The number of sites that offers the free WiFi service is more than 1000 sites, in which serves QuickNet customers for the first time in the Kingdom through various STC portals.
Customers that buy Acer devices can also benefit from receiving a free modem, a prepaid internet SIM card and one month internet package. These offers will be available to customers through Acer distributers' retail stores.
Mr. Jameel bin Abdullah Almulhem, Vice President of STC Personal unit, has commented on the partnership by stating: "STC is always committed to guarantee its services to access its largest customer base in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and mobile technologies occupies most of our attention in the upcoming stage, which is why we partnered with Acer, one of the most important trademarks in the world, in order to give customers the possibility to access the internet at all times."
Acer is considered one of the pioneer companies in the Saudi market, and it is characterized by its services that enhance the consumer's experience, where the company has devoted most of its efforts to work with distribution channels in order to allow its products to be distributed to large number of users. There is no doubt that this strategic partnership with STC will have an impact in the growth of Acer operations in the Kingdom's market.
