A New Service From ADJD To Enhance Legal Awareness Through Smart Phones

As part of its plans to increase awareness among all segments of society, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has released a wide range of its books through “Rufoof”, the online store application developed by Flagship Projects, a leading hi-tech mobile and web applications provider.
Rashed Saqer Al Dhaheri, Director of IT Bureau, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, said: “This move of releasing these books on iPads is part of the ADJD plan to reach most of legal specialists and others who need such material. The step reflects the dedication of the ADJD to deploy latest technologies.”
The ADJD customers can go to the application and view a wide range of ADJD book titles, download them and read them even when they lose internet connectivity.
The department has also released social books on Rufoof. The IT Bureau at the ADJD is now working to prepare a large number of books to be added to the same service.
Commenting on this, Shadi Hasan, Managing Director, Flagship Projects, Middle East & North Africa said: “The ADJD is implementing the latest international technologies and this is evident in publishing its books through “Rufoof” which is a service that goes in line under the IT bureau’s direction at ADJD.”
He concluded: “ADJD has been a pioneer among government departments in the Arab World to adopt latest technologies to provide best services to its customers.”
