Huawei Enables Telcos With Quality Of Experience Management

Huawei, a provider of next-generation telecommunication network solutions for operators around the world, presented the latest in innovative solutions in the area of Managed Services (MS) at the fourth Informa annual event 'Managed Services for Growth Markets 2011. The event brought together more than 200 professionals and experts representing 20+ regional Telco service providers, leading global telecom vendors, and industry analysts.

The Huawei presentation entitled 'Going Beyond Traditional Managed Services' provided the audience with a glance at new trends to reduce TCO, yet more importantly the evolution route for next generation Managed Services to support evolving technologies and network convergence with the subscribers' Quality of Experience as the focal point.

Huawei is now serving more than 35 of the top 50 International service providers, managing 160,000+ nodes, 170+ million subscribers thus pressing expeditious growth of Managed Services worldwide and is leading such evolving Services in the Middle East Region.

The most recent MS contract was awarded to Huawei by the fastest growing mobile communications and technology provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Etihad-Etisalat (Mobily) where Mr. Ashraf Ismail M. Ibrahim, Mobily Sr. Vice President- O&M stated, "Huawei is a strategic partner for Mobily. We partner together to implement innovative ideas to improve customer satisfaction, assure the Quality of the Experience and optimize OPEX"

Speaking on the prospects of Managed Services, Xia Chaojie, Vice President of Huawei Middle East Delivery & Services said, "The region's Telco service providers are facing incessant demand for best-in-Class services. Huawei's innovative and customized solutions are consistent to support the Telco's networks transformation by providing the subscribers with the best Quality of Experience enabled with Huawei's service strategy C.A.R.E (Collaboration, Agility, Reduction, and Enhancement) and give operational excellence to all our partners."

The global forecast for Managed Services in 2011 is set to increase to more than $20bn according to Technology Business Research Inc.
