NETGEAR To Reinforce Leadership In Me Region’s Wired And Wireless Segment With Launch Of Powerline AV 500 Adapter Kit Xav5001

NETGEAR, a worldwide provider of technologically advanced branded networking and storage products, is moving to reinforce its leadership in the Middle East region’s wired and wireless segment with the launch of the Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001, a new product package offering users faster wired and wireless connection speeds even for the most demanding applications making it the perfect tool for professional and personal internet use. NETGEAR’s latest offering creates a wireless hotspot in an area of your home without wireless coverage by using your homes existing electrical wiring. The new adapter kit extends your Internet access to any electrical outlet at speeds of up to 500 Mbps making it the highest performing consumer networking technology available. The XAV5001 is also an ideal tool for connecting HDTV's, Blu-ray players, DVR’s, PC’s and game consoles to your home network and the Internet. The product package, which comes with a Powerline AV 500 Adapter, one ethernet cable and an installation CD, offers easy, plug and play setup.

The Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001 is being packaged as the perfect internet accompaniment tool offering a combined solution for both powerline and wireless networking. The kit provides users with an extended network for wireless devices like laptops and Wi-Fi enabled smart phones and wired devices such as desktop PC's, gaming consoles and set-top boxes providing speeds of up to 500 mbps that is perfect for key applications like streaming multimedia, multiplayer gaming and multiple HD streams. NETGEAR has revealed that the new unit is easy to install and does not require added configuration to your system or new software to be installed. The adapter can simply be plugged into any electrical outlet to create a secure network connection.

The Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001 is IEEE 802.3 and HomePlug AV compliant the adapter weighs 0.13 kg. The product can provide typical coverage of up to 5,000 square feet. The unit comes with a 500 mbps Powerline AV interface and a one-gigabit ethernet port. As with all NETGEAR products, the Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001 is environment friendly with features like Power on and off buttons; automatic power shutdown when not in use and comes in 80 per cent recycled packaging. The new kit can also expand a powerline network and works compatibly with Homeplug AV including NETGEAR Powerline AV 200.
