All Nawras Customers Now Get More Value With New Elite Program

Being part of the Nawras family is now even more rewarding with the introduction of the Elite Program, an exciting new way of saying thank you and giving greater value to every customer. Nawras is now giving points to all customers for every recharge made or bill paid, whether this is for mobile or fixed services. Customers can save points and after three months, redeem them for free calling minutes or free SMS.
During a press conference held in Muscat, Nawras Chief Strategy Officer, Abdulla Issa Al-Rawahy, announced the details of the innovative programme. He began by thanking customers for their loyalty before outlining the pleasingly different way that they can now be rewarded for using Nawras.
He explained how all customers can subscribe to the Elite Program today for free, to start earning tier points every time they use a Nawras service and said that customers will also be able to earn bonus points during special promotions or offers. He added that all Elite Club members will earn additional bonus points every month, based on the tier points they accrued in the previous calendar month.
Al-Rawahy continued with further good news as he unveiled details of the new Silver level being introduced to the Elite Club. Silver membership will be extended to all customers who spend between 10 Rials and 25 Rials every month, over a period of six months.
“Nawras has always recognised that customers have a choice,” Al-Rawahy emphasised. “It is important to us that our customers know we recognise and appreciate their loyalty and it’s not just words. We are rewarding them in pleasingly different ways for using our services and already many hundreds of thousands of customers are enjoying the benefits of being Elite Club members. Today we are delighted to be going even further with the new Elite Program, by giving all our customers points that can be redeemed for free calling minutes and free SMS to be used to get closer to other Nawras customers.”
How to join the Elite Program for free and start earning points: Joining the Elite Program is easy. Customers can visit www.nawras.om and go to MyNawras to register. Alternatively mobile customers can dial *147*21# for the simple steps in English or *147*11# for the same in Arabic.
Corporate customers can apply through their telecom administrator who will operate the account of behalf of the company.
After subscribing to the new programme for free, Nawras customers will receive 10 tier points for every 1 Omani Rial spent. After 90 days, points can be redeemed, transferred or saved to use later.
Simple codes allow customers to check their balance, transfer points to friends and family and redeem points for exciting awards. A balance check can be performed by dialling *147*22# or *147*12# for the Arabic version.
Elite Club membership
In addition to the Elite Program, every Nawras customer with a regular spend of more than 10 Omani Rials per month over a period of six months will now automatically be invited to join the Nawras Elite Club as a Silver member. This membership gives even more bonus points; Elite Club Silver members receive monthly bonus points equal to 25 percent of the tier points they have accrued in the previous month.
Elite Club Gold members (with regular monthly spends of over 25 Omani Rials) will receive bonus points equal to 50 percent of the points accrued in the previous month while Elite Club Platinum members (regularly spending a minimum of 100 Omani Rials per month) will receive a bonus of 100 percent of their tier points, every month.
The new Elite Program is an extension of the existing Nawras Elite Club which offers unmatched value, premium recognition and unique rewards like airport pick and drop and meet and greet, restaurant discounts, AAA roadside assistance and access to the Plaza Premium lounge at Muscat International Airport. Membership of the Nawras Elite Club is in addition to the points benefits of the Elite Program.
