- 17 inch imagePROGRAF iPF510 replaces imagePROGRAF LP17.

- Compatibility with Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System (32 Bit and 64 Bit) and Apple Macintosh OSX Operating System.

- Includes support for HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL.

Canon Middle East launches the 17 inch imagePROGRAF iPF510 large format printer as a replacement for the successful imagePROGRAF LP17.

In response to customer demand, the new printer now supports HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL, which will appeal to the CAD (Computer Aided Design) and GIS (Geographic Information System) markets. Additionally, the imagePROGRAF iPF510 is now compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System (32 Bit and 64 Bit) and Apple Macintosh OSX Operating System.

Offering the print quality, high performance and cost effectiveness that today’s market requires, the imagePROGRAF iPF510 has been designed to meet the in-house print needs of vertical markets, such as retail, hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, public sector, transportation and office. It benefits from reduced noise and a small footprint, which offers flexible installation in various office layouts.

With simple-to-use software, the imagePROGRAF iPF510 enables the quick in-house production of large format prints, such as point-of-sale displays, posters and company notices, as well as office documents, maps and CAD applications. Featuring a Reactive ink system, the printer uses four highly colourfast dye inks Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black plus two channels of pigment-based Matte Black to deliver vibrant full-bleed posters, clear text documents and crisp technical drawings.

PosterArtist Lite software, which makes it easy for any user to create a huge variety of posters in just a few simple steps, comes bundled with the imagePROGRAF iPF510. The new version of the full PosterArtist package PosterArtist V2.20 is available separately. This supports Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32 Bit and 64 Bit), features new artwork and can be used with other Canon printers.
The imagePROGRAF iPF510 is currently available across MENA through Canon’s accredited channel partners.
