Sony Begins Restoration Of Game Network

Sony has started a phased restoration of its PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment videogame services outside Asia, following a hacking attack that compromised personal information for more than 100 million user accounts last month, The Wall Street Journal has reported. As part of the restoration, Sony said all PlayStation 3 customers will need to download a security patch before regaining access to online gaming services. Sony said customers also will be required to change their passwords.
