The Wait Is Over For Heavy-Duty Compact Toshiba C10 System

Published May 17, 2011

TOSHIBA TEC unveiled their compact and ultra-silent WILLPOS C10 heavy-duty terminal to cater for mission-critical mobile applications in manufacturing, transportation, retail and energy-related industries.
The WILLPOS C10 rugged and drip-proof touch screen device provides ample benefits for diversified movable applications. The battery-powered unit is part of the company’s range of durable heavy-duty terminals designed for cost-effective operations that require maximum resilience.

TOSHIBA TEC hardware offers you a fast path to peace of mind and a positive payback thanks to the innovative designs of the company’s R&D team.
A fan-less and compact design without moving parts when using the Solid State Disk storage option, the WILLPOS C10 is developed to provide high-endurance on a small deployment footprint with an extensive array of applications.

Ready to accelerate the efficiency of information assets in a wide variety of vertical markets, the WILLPOS C10 currently runs on Microsoft Windows XP, WEPOS, POSReady2009, Windows7 PR and SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 operating systems.

The WILLPOS C10 is powered by the N450 Intel Atom CPU that has low power consumption and low heat emissions, which make this compact platform ideal for industrial environments.

The TFT touch screen design also comes with a built-in thermal printer (80mm width) and LIU for use as a check-in terminal, an information point as well as a regular POS system. The quiet, graphical thermal auto-cutting printer with easy loading mechanism is another example of smart design to accelerate efficiency.

A wide range of communication devices and Internet-based services for online advertising and reservation are just a few of the movable applications for which the WILLPOS C10 is designed.

At Toshiba, we believe that Innovation is a Journey, not a Destination.
