Gemalto Wins Two Awards At LTE World Summit 2011: “Best Contribution To LTE Standards” And “Best Enabling Technology”

Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, announces it has won two Informa LTE Awards in the “Best contribution to LTE standards“ and “Best enabling technology“ categories at the LTE World Summit 2011. The awards recognize Gemalto’s innovation capacity, which materializes in a range of complete LTEsolutions.
Gemalto’s solutions include the LTE Full-IP Over-the-Air platform for instant subscription activation and the LTE Universal Integrated Circuit Cards (UICC) for secure user authentication to 4G networks and access to IP-based multimedia services. Gemalto is already one of the world’s leading technology suppliers behind a number of high-profile commercial LTE deployments, notably with NTT Docomo in Japan, as well as Metro PCS and Verizon Wireless in the U.S.
