Middle East Abuzz With Pure Wireless Modularity Of Creative’s Latest Product Launches

Creative Technology Ltd. has formally launched its latest additions to its award-winning Pure Wireless Entertainment range in a special ceremony held today (Monday, May 30, 2011) at the Arjawan Function Room of the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. The new products will enhance the media experience of the Middle East’s discerning audiophiles and entertainment enthusiasts by supporting pure wireless modularity in audio systems setup.
Creative set new standards for digital entertainment through its pioneering line of wireless speakers and followed up with a complete system of tablet, wireless headphone and wireless speaker products in late 2010. The company’s latest wave of wireless technology will free Middle Eastern consumers from the limitations of fixed-speaker configurations by supporting the seamless addition of new wireless components. Audiophiles can now easily rearrange their speakers for bedside music listening, gaming, karaoke, movie viewing, and various other preferences.
The modular approach also translates to significant cost savings, as buyers can start from a basic one-piece setup and just wirelessly connect new speakers later on rather than buy a new system. Headphones, MP3/MP4 players and other media products from Creative have also been designed to connect effortlessly to the wireless systems.
The ZiiSound™ Dx series of pure wireless modular speakers includes the flagship ZiiSound D5x wireless one-piece speaker, the affordable room-suitable ZiiSound D3x wireless one-piece speaker and the extended deep bass ZiiSound DSx wireless subwoofer. The speakers can connect independently to stereo Bluetooth devices such as iPhone and Blackberry mobiles and iPad and Creative ZiiO tablets. They can be connected wirelessly to form a multi-channel home audio system and feature the renowned apt-X audio technology for outstanding sound quality.
The D80 Bluetooth wireless one-piece speaker is Creative’s most affordable one-piece portable speaker. It supports fast and easy Bluetooth connection, also offers independent device connection, and includes two 3” full range drivers to provide full, dynamic audio.
The ZEN Style M300 music, photo and video player is just 55 x 44 x 12 mm in size but comes with a lot of features. It supports wireless connectivity with Bluetooth 2.1, includes a microSD card slot, touch-sensitive control buttons, and a built-in FM Radio that lets users add up to 32 preset stations. The small but feature-rich player comes in 4-, 8- and 16-GB capacities.
Creative’s WP-450, WP-350 and WP-250 Bluetooth music listening and voice communication headphones offer the ideal wireless companions for smart communication devices such as iPhone and Android mobiles. All models three come with crystal clear in-call voice quality, wireless connectivity and a unique ‘invisible mic’ built into the earpiece.

The ZiiSound D5x and the ZiiSound DSx will be available in the UAE from July 2011 at the following suggested retail price (SRP):
Creative ZiiSound D5x wireless modular speaker – AED 1, 099 and Creative ZiiSound DSx wireless modular subwoofer - AED 499.
The Creative ZiiSound D3x wireless modular speaker will be available in the UAE from September 2011 at a suggested retail price of AED 499, while the Creative D80 wireless speaker will be available in the UAE from June 2011 at the SRP of AED 169.
The Creative ZEN Style M100 (4GB), Creative ZEN Style M300 (4GB) and Creative ZEN Style M300 (8GB) portable media players will be available in the UAE from mid June 2011 at the suggested retail price of AED 179, AED 219 and AED 269 respectively.
The Creative WP-350 headphones will be available in the UAE from June 2011 at a SRP of AED 349, while the Creative WP-450 and WP-250 headphones will be available from September 2011 at the SRP of AED 449 and AED 229 respectively.
