Injazat Builds Business Case For ‘Cloud’-Enabled Internal & Outsourced Data Center Management At IDC MEA Roadshow

Injazat Data Systems extensively discussed the rationale behind in-house and outsourced data center functions during the IDC Cloud Computing & Datacenter Roadshow 2011 held at the Hilton Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Injazat explained that the cost benefits of cloud computing are dramatically driving up interest in alternative data center infrastructures across the Middle East.
Running under the theme ‘The Big Migration: How to Build Your Own Cloud,’ the 15-nation tour of the Middle East, Africa (MEA), and Turkey arm of technology-focused market research and analysis firm IDC explores the market-redefining impact of cloud computing, an IT service segment projected to grow into a USD 241 billion business in 2020. According to IDC, worldwide revenue from public IT cloud services is forecasted to reach $55.5 billion in 2014, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.4%. This rapid growth rate is over five times the projected rate of growth for traditional IT products (5%). IDC expects accelerated adoption of cloud computing, not only in light of the cost cutting priorities of today’s organizations but also by a desire to take advantage of the agility and flexibility the model offers.
In its session titled ‘The Heart of Your Organization: How Well Do You Know Your Datacenter?’ Platinum Partner Injazat presented various options to develop resilient, cost effective, flexible and eco-friendly data center strategies. Drawing on its experiences from its Tier IV design certified Premier Data Center, the first facility of its kind in the Middle East, Injazat outlined its proven approaches to streamlining operational management; facility consolidation and virtualization; power and cooling cost optimization; disaster recovery; and sustainability.
“Cloud computing is changing the way organizations look at deploying IT strategies, providing new alternatives for enterprises. We trust that our experience with the Injazat Premier Tier IV data center, combined with managed services and flexibility in building hybrid cloud offerings, can help organizations decide on the best option for their particular requirements that will enable them to excel in their businesses,” said Bala Pandalangat, CEO, Injazat Data Systems.
IDC CEMA’s IDC Cloud Computing & Datacenter Roadshow 2011 is designed for senior IT and business executives looking at better ways to communicate, collaborate and engage with its customers. Among the key areas it addresses are virtualization, managed data center services, mobile service security, secure power supplies for data centers, and private cloud technologies. Roadshow destinations include the UAE, the KSA, South Africa, Qatar, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, Lebanon and Egypt.
