Ascom Expands Global Sales Organization Strengthening Indirect Sales Channels

Ascom Wireless Solutions, the leading supplier of on site wireless communications announced that it has once again expanded its global sales organization to locally support customers in new geographic areas. This expansion is part of their strategic plan to increase the indirect sales channel by partnering with new value added resellers/distributors in selected regions.

Dennis Anderson, Vice President Global Sales for Ascom Wireless Solutions says, “We are accelerating our geographic expansion by leveraging our mission critical interactive wireless solutions in markets where we see strong growth and business opportunities. We are now increasing the number of our value added resellers, partners and alliances in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southern Europe.

We will mainly focus on the Healthcare sector including acute care hospitals, institutional care elderly homes and independent living/home care, but also on the industry segment and have expanded our sales organization to make these expansion plans happen. He further adds, “Our on site wireless platforms, IP-DECT and WiFi systems are purpose built for our customers and are superior technologies in mission critical communications.“

The expansion plan includes the addition of new Ascom personnel in Russia, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. These additional staff bring extensive experience in wireless communications and will fill positions in Channel Management and Technical support. All of these positions have been filled by local people who live in the region and have vast contacts with value added resellers/distributors in their territory.
