Canon Middle East Introduces Free Three Year Warranty On All Laser Printer Models In Egypt

Published Jun 15, 2011

Canon Middle East, the world leader in imaging solutions, has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing an unrivalled level of after sales service by providing a three year warranty on all its laser printer models for customers in Egypt. The move signals the brand’s confidence in its technology and its ongoing commitment to providing customers with access to value added benefits at no extra cost.

“Canon is committed to providing the highest standards of support in the industry, with a customer focused approach to both sales and service. The increase in warranty from one year to three reflects our total confidence in the robust nature of Canon’s i-SENSYS laser products, which are manufactured to the highest possible standards. Canon’s printing solutions have long been regarded as market leaders in terms of product quality, a position which we have now reinforced with this unique commitment to our customers based in Egypt," said Somesh Adukia, Sales Manager, Canon Middle East.

Canon recently launched its latest i-SENSYS range of printers in Egypt. The new range of printers is part of Canon’s ongoing commitment to minimising the environmental impact through the effective application of environmentally friendly technologies. With the lowest TEC (Total Electrical Consumption) rating in its class, as defined by Energy Star, i-SENSYS laser printers are the choice for organisations looking to move towards an ‘eco friendly’ office without compromising on productivity.

“Canon has a very strong printer line up in terms of technology, performance and range and is one of the key players in the printing industry. With the new i-SENSYS range Canon customers in Egypt can now maximise efficiency and utilise benefits through direct savings such as reduced running costs, lower power consumption and cost management. Our increased free three year warranty scheme against the standard one year warranty is testament to our efforts in providing the highest level of service to our customers,” said Bittu Mattam, Product Manager, Canon Middle East.

“Canon has always offered state of the art products that combine cutting technology and value for money along with meeting the expectations of the diverse consumers of the region. Our partnership with a world class brand like Canon reaffirms our commitment to providing local corporate customers with access to world leading technology and value added benefits. This warranty scheme, a first for customers in Egypt, further reaffirms our commitment to providing the highest standards of support to the evolving business landscape of Egypt,” said Mr. Ahmed Khodary, General Manager, Silicon 21, the Egypt distributor of Canon Middle East.

The free three year warranty scheme will be an ongoing promotion across all authorised outlets selling Canon laser printers across Egypt.
