New Authorised Training Partner For Cisco In Egypt

Published Aug 16, 2009
Regional technology consulting firm Equinox has received the green light to begin delivering official Cisco training courses in Egypt after striking a partnership with Middle East IT learning giant Synergy Global Professional Services.

As a Cisco Leaning Partner Associate, Equinox is permitted to deliver training courses for the networking vendor’s technologies to Egyptian-based channel partners and end users.

Equinox, which has just launched a new training division called ‘EquiTrain’, will provide authorised training at its own locations or on site, using in house instructors certified by Cisco.

“The Cisco Learning Partner Associate certification and our partnership with Global Knowledge will contribute to the development of our offerings and will add additional value when answering the needs and expectations of our existing and potential customers,” stated Osama Qadan, managing partner of Equinox International.

“This partnership also enables Equinox to offer an unparalleled depth and range of expertise across all Cisco’s technology areas and establishes Equinox as one of the few networking consulting organizations in the Middle East who are truly capable of offering complete and effective end to end networking solutions and services,” added Qadan.

The training courses delivered through EquiTrain will be fully compliant with international standards established by Cisco and use official Cisco training material.

In addition to holding Cisco Silver Partner status in the Gulf and a Premier Partner in Egypt, Equinox International is an Advanced Services Partner for Cisco in the Middle East.

The company, which has offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, specialises in providing infrastructure solutions from vendors such as Entuity, Netcordia, Cristan and Netcsout.
