Canon Middle East Extends Business Support And Consultancy Package With Two New Education Modules

Published Aug 16, 2009
Canon Middle East, world leader in imaging solutions has announced the launch of two education modules to its Canon Essential Business Builder Program, providing practical ways to increase revenue, improve productivity and inspire innovative ideas through interactive workshops and one to one consultancy.

To enhance its existing programme of insightful modules, Canon has added two areas covering 'Web to Print' and 'Selling Digital Print' to reflect the changing face of the print industry.

Canon's Essential Business Builder Program is completely adaptable and tailored to country requirements to provide a unique package that will help print companies along their 'Path to Profit' another Canon initiative to help printers effectively grow their businesses.

Following months of development and planning, the two modules are now ready for implementation.

'Selling Digital Print' sets out the strongest ways of approaching a digital print sale, taking customers step by step through ideas and concepts using independent industry expertise.

The 'Web to Print' module explores industry drivers and success strategies, as well as highlighting the risks, benefits and potential returns from investing in Web to Print.

The workshop's aim is to guide decision makers as to how investing in Web to Print will benefit their business goals and then the best way to implement this.

Ayman Aly, Product Manager, Canon Middle East says, "Particularly in the current economic climate, businesses need to look for new services that will make them stand out from the crowd, and new ways to sell these services. Canon devised the Essential Business Builder Program so that it can help printers explore new avenues and support their business development".

Canon's Essential Business Builder Program acts as a support and consultancy package for its customers in the shape of information guides, and one day group workshops.

The workshops are run by independent consultants who tailor the modules to fit with their country requirements.

For more advanced, bespoke support, Canon can arrange for the consultants to work closely with their customers on specific problems.

"The Canon commissioned study, 'The Insight Report Digital Printing Directions', found that 87% of print companies look to their suppliers for direction or support in business development, and it is Canon's ongoing aim to add real value in this area. With so little time and money available to print companies in the present economic environment, Canon works closely with customers, providing the consultancy and tools for printers to remain profitable," added Ayman Aly.

The two new modules will become part of Canon's Essential Business Builder Program across Middle East from April 2009.
