Samsung Launches Its Campaign To Support UAE’s Bait Al Khair

Samsung, a global leader and award winning innovator in consumer technology, have joined hands with Bait Al Khair on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, to increase awareness about the spirit of this month and the importance of supporting the less fortunate.

This goodwill gesture will see parts of Samsung’s proceeds being donated to help bring the smile back to the faces of children and needy families.

Throughout the holy month, the charity Ramadan drive aims to donate an allocated amount as proceeds to the charity for every mobile phone, washing machine, refrigerator, television or mini notebook being sold during the holy month.

Mr. Marco Vocale, Head of Corporate Marketing, Samsung Gulf Electronics commented: “Ramadan is the ultimate humanitarian opportunity for Samsung to reaffirm our social responsibility vision and trend to integrate the societies we are present in. On this special occasion, we hope to gather substantial proceeds to support Bait Al Khair charity, a renowned charity in UAE. Throughout this drive, we will be committed to celebrate the Ramadan spirit and reach out to the less fortunate during the holy month”.

UAE’s Bait Al Khair Charity expressed its content to have partnered with Samsung Electronics for this prestigious charity drive.

“We are pleased to be Samsung’s charity of choice for this prestigious drive during the holy month. I would like to thank Samsung Electronics for this opportunity to reach out to those in need across the country. We truly hope that this partnership will mark the beginning of a noble mission to fulfil human dignity and social justice in the region. We consider Samsung Electronics a renowned partner, known for its history of supporting charitable initiatives targeted towards the less fortunate”. A Bait Al Khair Charity spokesperson commented.

Bait Al Khair society was established in 1989 by a constellation of philanthropists, which was ordered to be a U.A.E society by being a bridge for those who are interested in donating most of their money to U.A.E nationals and residents, due to that an emblem launched from the society ‘from U.A.E to U.A.E’.
