Dubai eGovernment has unveiled a new edition of the popular eModhesh Friends Forum as part of the 14th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS); with the aim of enabling children to get child-friendly DSS related information, communicate with new friends online as well as with Modhesh.

The eModhesh Friends Forum (www.emodhesh.ae) has a new look and feel, with dedicated sections for entertainment, culture and topics, all appealing to children’s interest in information technology and providing hours of healthy entertainment during the summer holiday.

Sumaia Khalifa Bin Hammad, Director of Communication and Business Development at Dubai eGovernment, said: “DSS is an outstanding annual tourist, promotional and cultural activity in the region. Hence, we are keen every year on employing our electronic platform to facilitate the provision of services and information related to the diverse activities held all over Dubai to our customers. We have not forgotten our younger generation and the eModhesh Friends Forum is part of our commitment towards society and meeting the needs of our children in the cultural, technological and entertainment fields.”

eModhesh Friends Forum includes exciting competitions and prizes for children, as well as Modhesh World, Modhesh Forum, Amazing Landmarks, Modhesh’s Library, Modhesh & Friends and Modhesh’s Hobbies. The eModhesh Friends Forum is a virtual online gathering where fans and friends of Modhesh can meet and exchange information as well as chat with each other. Modhesh Hobbies introduces amazing ideas and puzzles, a cookery section called Modhesh Kitchen, a sports section for healthy exercise and games and a Benevolent Modhesh section which teaches children how to obtain positive values in society. Children can enter a number of competitions to win valuable prizes. These include ‘Talweeny’ or ‘My Colouring’ for various age categories up to 15 years.

The eModhesh Friends Forum from Dubai eGovernment is held annually as part of DSS and over the years has become a very popular child-centric online platform for children to make friends online as well as chat directly with Modhesh – the mascot of DSS.
